About the Motel

Mojave Sands is a 5 room desert motel located in Joshua Tree, California. Built in 1952, it was purchased in 2002 and gutted. The bones were kept, but it underwent a total renovation. The doors, windows, gates, and furniture were all designed and built on site. Each room has a private patio with benches and fountain, a fridge/freezer, coffee maker & grinder, toaster, library, typewriter with paper, bose sound dock, and the obligatory record player with an assortment of records for your listening pleasure.
